Atlantes Educational Services is a successful provider of services for education. We are staffed by experienced education and contracting professionals and employ trainers, registered inspectors and professional readers, using the services of selected consultants in many specialist areas.
We have one of the largest and most comprehensive databases of educational specialists, advisers and consultants in Wales.
We have been inspecting schools in Wales since 1993 and have inspected some 300 schools across all phases. Our accredited inspectors carry out nursery, primary, secondary, special and PRU inspections on behalf of Estyn. All of our inspectors have teaching experience in Wales and a majority speaking Welsh.
We pride ourselves in providing a friendly, efficient and high quality service and offer a mentoring service to all our inspectors on professional issues. Our experienced management team provides advice and backup to inspectors at any time during the inspection process on matters ranging from professional decision or procedural issues to IT technical support. Every report is scrutinised by our professional readers for consistency and grammatical accuracy, to ensure that they meet with Estyns requirements. Where reports are to be translated, we employ highly qualified professionals, whose first language is Welsh.
Our quality assurance procedures are constantly developing and our up-to-date information technology systems give feedback to our individual inspectors, helping to identify and provide for their training needs. We regularly offer training sessions to our teams of inspectors, ensuring that they benefit from the feedback given by schools, registered inspectors and Estyn.
As a training agency, we help schools to focus on organisational performance, development and efficiency. We offer experience in all curriculum areas and assist with pupil assessment processes, quality of teaching and school development planning. All our consultants work to high professional standards offering relevant advice and feedback.
